Today was the day when the tour really felt like it had got 'underway' as we boarded the Jet (Embraer Legacy) at Northolt and Sushi'd our way across the channel to Brussels whereupon we re-united ourselves with the crew and gear after a brief respite. First things first, a nice cup of Glengettie with Adrian in catering and a brief dinner before we take to the stage to run a few tunes. What this band needs right now is an audience...can't wait for tomorrow. Stay tuned.

Dave Saunders' baptism of fire. Day 1, one of the most reliable pieces of equipment on the stage decides not to work, the Akai S1100, now regarded as vintage, blew up this afternoon and Dave had to find replacements on a bank holiday in Brussells. No problem. Within hours, identical items appear behind the riser whilst the band run through the set. Dave is over exposed here preparing my night-light atop the Nord for the show tomorrow.
